Villa Mukinja is located in the heart of the tourist zone of the National Park. It is called after a tree species which grows only in this area and whose fruit (White Beam or Latin Sorbus aria) is a real treat for the bears.
The house lies in a quiet area, ideal for holidays and relaxation. It is only 700 away from the lake of Kozjak! The starting point of the visit to the National Park can be reached after a 10 minutes' walk. In front of the house there is a parking place.
A medical centre and a grocery store are within a walking distance.

GETTING THERE
You can get there either from Zagreb or from the Adriatic coast along D-1 motorway.
Arriving from Zagreb
Once you get to Plitvicka Jezera drive past Entrance 1, turning to Jezero Hotel, Entrance 2 and turning to Bellevue and Plitvice Hotels. After 1 km you will reach a turning leading to the village of Plitvicka Jezera right after the small bus stop. Keep driving for another 50 meters until the first Y-crossroads where there is a village plan. Turn right. After 150 meters there is a turning on the left between the houses No 49 and 45. Take the second turning on the left just in front of the post office (HP). After another 50 meters you will reach Villa Mukinja (No 47) with a parking place in the front.
The house is located in a quiet area and is surrounded by lush greenery. It is far enough from the motorway and closest to the lakes.
Arriving from the Adriatic
15 km after the town of Korenica and Borje Motel you will get to Jezerce. Keep driving for another mile. Turn left where there is the sign «Plitvicka Jezera». Once you have entered the village follow the map or the instructions above.
